For whatever reason, “Back to School” often means “Back to Business” in the merger and acquisition market. This is a time of the year when we receive a greater number of inquiries from business owners interested in selling their businesses.  We’re happy to take those calls.

We’re also happy to visit with business owners before they get to the point of selling.  Many aren’t aware that Kasper & Associates offers Market Valuation services as a resource for an owner to understand where they stand with their company.  Different from a formal valuation used for tax purposes or estate planning, a market valuation is based on region-specific and current market information, or “what a real buyer would be willing to pay”.  Past clients have used this to assist in strategic planning, facilitate an internal buyout or to prepare a company for an eventual sale down the road.
